Summer Sunset pours 117 links down the wall in warm gradients that melt from amber into rose, like the last light of a long summer evening. Each of the 117 transparent acrylic rings is cut and finished by hand, then graded tone by tone so the colour drifts seamlessly from top to bottom. As the light shifts through the day the piece warms and cools with it, casting gentle coloured reflections across the surrounding wall.
